THE CREW

Wayne Gasparich - owner

Wayne

Wayne brings a long history of knowledge and experience to The Forge. In his early days, he worked as a Boilermaker for the Solvey Coke Plant before moving to a position at Germantown Iron and Steel. He continued growing his metalworking career with Badger Railing and eventually became a Foreman at American Ornamental Iron. In 2002 he started Storybook Forge and Metalwork's.

Today, he manages the day-to-day operations in the shop and works alongside the crew on all projects. He's there through all phases of the job, from the first phone call to the final install.

In his spare time, you might find him on the golf course, working on crossword puzzles, cooking gourmet meals for his family, and serving at his Church.

Eric Gasparich - fabricator

Eric

Eric has over 20 years of metalworking experience and has been working with the family business since it’s inception in 2002. He’s both inventive and efficient when it comes to fabrication methods and takes great pride in the work, demonstrating a high quality of workmanship.

He loves collaborating with clients on delivering solutions that are tailored to their needs. No matter if it’s a restoration piece, railing to accentuate your home’s curb appeal, or a custom design, he is happy to make you part of the design process.

Eric enjoys leisure time with his family such as fishing, camping, helping with youth sports, and vacationing in the upper peninsula of Michigan. He has been an avid largemouth and smallmouth fisherman for almost 30 years, and enjoys mountain biking on the local trail systems.
